Bloom Type

Bloom Type is an independent type foundry based in Stockholm, Sweden, founded in 2021 by Baptiste Guesnon. The foundry works at the intersection of type, design, and technology, producing typefaces for both retail and custom brand projects.

Bloom Type creates typefaces that serve real brand needs while maintaining typographic craft. Their custom type work emphasizes systems thinking, designing families that function across diverse brand touchpoints from digital interfaces to environmental graphics.

Notable Projects

The foundry's custom work includes Vend Sans, a brand typeface built around a graphic system of alternate shapes that reflect brand diversity. Guesnon studied at the Ecole Superieure d'Art et Design de Valence before establishing Bloom Type.
