KH Type

KH Type is the type foundry arm of Kurppa Hosk, a Stockholm-based brand and design studio. Led by type designer Jakob Ekelund, KH Type produces custom brand typefaces and retail font families that bridge Scandinavian design sensibility with contemporary typographic practice.

Notable Projects

The foundry's most prominent work includes Zalando Sans, the bespoke variable sans-serif developed as the cornerstone of the Zalando brand identity. Created in collaboration with Zalando's brand and product design teams in Berlin, the typeface replaced Helvetica and Tiempos as Zalando's primary typographic voice.
