Sponsor FontAlternatives

FontAlternatives helps developers and designers find free, open-source replacements for premium fonts and compare the typefaces they're choosing between. We take one sponsor at a time, in a clearly labelled unit beside the content. This page covers who reads the site and what we offer.

Who reads it

Readers arrive with a task: pick a typeface for a product, or replace a licensed font they can't use. They get here by searching for things like "free alternative to Proxima Nova", "Inter vs Roboto" or "best fonts for dashboards", and more and more often through a link from ChatGPT or another AI assistant.

We don't ask readers who they are, so there is no job-title breakdown here. What they read is a fair proxy. Our most-clicked page in Google is a guide to fonts for dense dashboards, and the most-read comparisons are interface typefaces such as Inter, Roboto and Geist. That points to front-end developers and product designers building websites and apps. Most of them read on a desktop.

Sponsorship options

Sitewide sponsor

One unit beside the main content of every font comparison, premium-alternative, free-font and blog page: 10,228 pages, with 32k pageviews in the last 30 days.

  • A fixed 180 × 320 px box: your logo or image, a line or two of copy, one link
  • Space is reserved before it loads, so it never shifts the page
  • Desktop on all four page types; on phones as well on comparison, free-font and blog pages

Section sponsor

The same unit, limited to the part of the site that fits your audience best.

  • All 9,614 font comparisons: people choosing between typefaces for a product
  • Guides and use-case pages: product designers working on dashboards, fintech and SaaS interfaces
  • Or another section from the list above; ask and we'll share its numbers

How sponsorships work

  • Clearly labelled. The unit carries a visible "Sponsor" label and is never styled to look like one of our recommendations.
  • One sponsor per slot. Your unit doesn't rotate with other advertisers.
  • Links are rel="sponsored", as Google asks for paid links.
  • No third-party scripts or tracking pixels. The unit is an image and a link served from our own domain. Add UTM parameters to your link to measure clicks in your own analytics.
  • Reporting. After the booking, we send you pageviews for the pages that carried your unit, from the same analytics as the numbers above.
  • Editorial independence. Sponsors have no say in which fonts we recommend, how we score similarity or what our comparisons say. How our scores are calculated.
